Relief work combining raw material and contemporary composition, EMERGENCE depicts a partially revealed face, sculpted in slate, on a background made of tire.  
The contrast between the mineral, raw, and imperfect texture, and the structured background with repetitive patterns creates a dialogue between nature and human construction.  
This deliberately incomplete face invites the viewer to project their own emotions and to explore the idea of identity.
